Disregard the golf banner above. Having some trouble getting it down. I'm all thumbs digitally...
Finally...some football! Don't miss the glorious annual guaranteed win on the Husker's schedule, and our equally glorious annual spring game celebration at the Delta Eta Chapter House next Saturday. By popular demand, we are resurrecting the alumni versus actives flag football game. Come on down and relive the A-Team memories. The actives bested us by a point last time we did this before the Centennial Celebration in 2010. No injuries last time, but we are all older too... Let me know if you want to join the alum squad, which to date includes Jason Rohrs, Zac Gemar, Matt Atkinson, Zach Girthoffer, Matthew Molettiere, John Campbell and Ryan Anderson. We've only got 1 over 40, so let's see if we can get a few more alums out there... Let me 402.416.6108 or Zac know if you are interested.

Dear Brother:
Summer is right around the corner and Delta Eta is preparing for a successful recruiting season. This year our chapter must sign approximately 25-30 freshmen to fill the house and remain competitive in size.
Delta Eta battles for top-level recruits with some of the strongest fraternity chapters in the nation. We can use any edge that we can get. The recruiting landscape has changed. In the age of social media, chapters can reach out to high school seniors via Facebook and build connections well before formal recruitment. As a result, some of the best incoming freshmen commit to other chapters before they even meet with Sigma Nu. Moreover, the deadline for cancelling housing contracts with the University to move into a fraternity has moved from June 30th to April 30th, making it even more imperative that we sign candidates early.
You can give Delta Eta a "leg up" on the competition. This month, please identify a high school senior in your community who plans to enroll at the University this fall. He could be relative, a family friend, a neighbor or someone from church. If he seems like a worthy candidate, encourage him to explore the Greek system and talk to Sigma Nu. Send us his contact information. Connor Anson, the recruitment chairman, is ready to follow up on any referral that you may have.
Please send your referrals to me at twest@bairdholm.com. I will pass them along to Mr. Anson. I look forward to hearing from you.
Fraternally,
Todd A. West
